Story Walk is a children’s book that has been taken apart and presented page by page at different stations along a path.  Each page is attached to a weatherproof information pedestal.  As you stroll down the path, you’re directed to the next page in the story.  The Story Walk is an innovative and delightful way for children, and adults, to enjoy reading and promoting healthy, outdoor activities at the same time. This national project has currently been installed in several cities and towns across the United States.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
The Wamego Public Library's StoryWalk is located at the Wamego Recreation Complex at 1001 Balderson Blvd and is accessible for all ages!
